Little bit?
My online name is Cake. But in real-life I preferred to be called as Khalil (calling me Cake looks kindda weird?) because my real name is Mohd Nurkhalil. My friends in college call me Kelly. I live in Kangar, Perlis since I was born but that doesn’t mean that I’m stuck here all the time. My family loves travelling so much and so far we’ve been to London (3 times), Edinburgh, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore and Saigon. More is yet to come maybe..

Cake?
I still remembered when the mIRC trend was very popular back then I used to experiment myself with lots of nickname. I like to use the name of food when suddenly I thought of CakeAndPastries while eating cakes when one of my friends, Zienow (if you still can remember that, Rino) asked me whether I had a cool nickname for him. Instead of giving it to him, I used it for myself.

Blog History?
Then I started to develop my interest towards web-designing. Frankly, my skills back then was not too good too be impressed of. I even depended on WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver and FrontPage. Then when I’m in Form 1 (2002) I started to know about blogging. At that time bloggers community wasn’t like today of course and I blog manually. That is when I started to use the name Cake only for blogging.

I didn’t have any archives about my previous blog because I’m not aware of content-saving for viewing & nostalgic purposes yet that time. But my previous hoster was Geocities of course (damn, old days) and then Nighami.Net (I wonder if it still exists) and Sief3r.com. It was Bro Siefer who taught me a lot about blogging and designing. Thanks bro!

Then I went into long hiatus when I was accepted into MRSM Langkawi as it is a boarding school. I didn’t have the time for blogging anymore. So my previous Wordpress blog under Sief3r.Com was being put down by the admin.

Now that I had finished schooling, I started back into the blogging arena with help from my real-life friend, Adam who is willing to share his hosting and domain under Xter.Org. Shortly after that, several problems occured and Wizurai generously offered me a domain name and hosting under him and that is how the site is up and running as you can see now.
